Excellent salon! Maribel and her staff are simply the best. They prioritize the health of your hair always and the blowout is always stunning. Everyone is friendly and welcoming...you feel like you are with family. I highly recommend!
The stylists here are talented, but I ultimately decided not to return after realizing they were using drugstore hair color products while still charging premium prices. On top of that, during the summer, the salon tends to be overrun with mosquitoes, which made the experience uncomfortable.

I’ve been going to Maribel on and off for some time now, and as an African American woman, finding a Dominican hairstylist who truly understands how to care for my hair has not always been easy — but this team does an excellent job. Maribel, her daughter, and the stylist all provide great service. Their blowouts are consistently well done, and I especially appreciate the attention to detail during perm touch-ups. I have a sensitive scalp and thinning hair, so it’s very important that only the new growth is processed — and majority of the time they take the time to do it correctly instead of overlapping chemicals. There is one particular stylist who is especially skilled with shorter cuts, which I can appreciate as my hair is not quite voluminous and long as many client's. They are professional, respectful, and fairly priced. Overall, this is my go-to spot for a wash and set or perm, and I would definitely recommend them.
I've been to their rosedale location and this is my first time at their cambria Heights location and its the same great work. Excellent customer service and your hair is shining and healthy when you leave. If your looking for a Dominican salon this is the place to go.
